Sending this long and circuitous note that there will be no doubt that I wrote and this is NOT a form letter!
Do you remember when I had the crazy 8’s promotion for Casa Karma a few years ago, during the month of August (the 8th month)?
Hmm well, it seems that 8s are wild once again. On April 30th, it was my birthday. (Children’s Day in Mexico, surprise, surprise).
I shall be 80 so again I want to play with the number 8 and create a promotion around that number to share our appreciation with you.
To that end I am offering Casa Karma, off season or on season with no time limit on usage at 80% of the usual rate! Why? Because we love your energy and we want you to come back and share more of it with us! I am taking a page out of Gholi’s tribal book of lore. Why do I call it that? Because he would suggest something, along the lines of generosity and kindness which he personally incorporated into his daily life and would convince me that this was a tribal tradition. My rudimentary research after the fact, showed me that HE was, in fact, the only one who actually ever practiced it, or even heard of it for that matter. Nevertheless, regardless of the origin of the concept, the idea of giving gifts on one’s own birthday resonated with me and still does! I loved receiving gifts on his birthday and giving them on mine!
Here then is my 80th birthday gift to you:
1. Please, check our up-to-date calendar for the open dates for the next few years and then take 20% off the published rate. This will be your price for your stay: 80% of the rate is your rate. (That is where the 80 part comes in).
2. No blackout dates.
3. Pay the 50% deposit by May 31st 2024. After that date all the magic of this gift turns back into a “pumpkin” and that promotion will disappear, poof! into the ethers.
4. If you have a significant date in mind for the foreseeable future, please book it. If you change your mind, no problem as long as other dates are open, it will be yours. You know we shall always honor your rate and the agreement and transfer if necessary.
